The Washington Square project was a mixed use retail, condo, and parking ramp project in downtown Sioux Falls. This project allowed for a unique application of Polypropylene piping for both domestic and hydronic systems that carries with it a 30 year warranty. This project also incorporated a ground loop well system that required extra attention during the installation and piping to ensure a functional and lasting final product for the owner.

The Carsforsale project was completed in 2017 and involved the installation of a floor plenum for the HVAC airflow along with state of the art boilers for heat. Relying on decades of experience, Krier & Blain was able to leverage the manpower, knowledge, and tooling required to complete this project in a timely manner for both the owner and construction manager.

The Wal-Mart on 85th and Minnesota is the latest of a number of Wal-Mart project that Krier & Blain has been a part of. Krier & Blain was able to perform the HVAC work on this project along with a combination of HVAC and plumbing on previous Wal-Mart buildings.

Large commercial projects often come with their own unique challenges and the Fleet Farm project off of I-29 definitely required some creative thinking. The building footprint was vast enough that setting the 24 rooftop units required the use of a helicopter. Krier & Blain has built extensive relationships with their trade partners and can often offer up different ideas and solutions to increase productivity, reliability, safety, and ease of use.
